Protect Yourself From Scams And Fraud

Pdb team is committed to ensuring your safety and a great experience on Pdb. Here are some recommendations to help you stay protected from scams and fraud.

Firstly, stick to Pdb to chat. Pdb not only safeguards your conversations but also maintains a secure and respectful environment through a dedicated moderation team. If you come across any suspicious individuals among your matches, please promptly report them.

Secondly, exercise caution and stay vigilant for unusual behaviors. Identifying cyber scams or catfishing attempts is important.

Here are some indicators that someone might be catfishing: (continuously updated)

  1. Someone shares suspicious links. If someone sends you an unfamiliar link or an unusual web address, exercise caution and avoid clicking on it until you can verify its safety.
  2. Someone requests money. This behavior is highly unusual and inappropriate! If your matches ask you for money, regardless of the amount, kindly decline and report them. Remember, genuine individuals seeking new friendships would never engage in such peculiar and disrespectful actions!
  3. Immediate insistence on moving to another platform for chatting. It raises suspicion when someone insists on migrating to another platform right after matching. Please remain cautious and maintain your privacy until you feel comfortable sharing it.
