People that are C (Conscientious) styles are primarily motivated by opportunities to gain knowledge or information, showing their expertise, and producing quality work. They highly prioritize accuracy, maintaining stability, and challenging assumptions. They are often considered/described as systematic, careful, analytical, diplomatic, and tactful. 

C styles mainly seek to stick to objective processes, being accurate and correct, demonstrate stability and reliability, attain knowledge and expertise, and continue personal growth. 

Things C styles need to improve are; Letting go or delegating tasks, compromise for the greater good of the team, make quick decisions and joining in social events, and taking risks. 

C styles in leadership positions are primarily disciplined and diligent, providing high-quality outcomes through careful analysis and planning. They display traits such as deliberate, humble and resolute. 

  • Fears: criticism and being wrong; strong displays of emotion

  • Values: quality and accuracy

  • Overuses: analysis, restraint

  • Influences others by: logic, exacting standards

  • In conflict: focuses on logic and objectivity; overpowers with facts

  • Could improve effectiveness through: acknowledging others’ feelings; looking beyond data
