People with the D (Dominant) style are motivated by winning, competition and success. They prioritize action and achieving their goals. People with the D style are also considered to be more direct, demanding, strong-willed, driven and determined, especially when achieving their goals. The D style is also considered to be rather skeptical and questioning. The D style's goal is to explore opportunities and to maintain control of the audience. The D style wants to achieve independence and strive for unique accomplishments. They are result-oriented and seeks to get bottom-line results.
However, the D style also need to improve in terms of patience and displaying sensitivity, they also need to expand energy in explaining the details.
In leadership, D styles are commanding and resolute, they take care and focus on the results. D styles are confident and pioneering in leadership positions as well.
