MBTI Loops and Grips

When stressed, each type goes into a thing called a grip. Introverts go into an extraverted grip, which makes them obsessed with the external.
INFP and ISFP [Te Grip]

These types become obsessed with how others criticize them when under stress.

INTP and ISTP [Fe Grip]

These types become obsessed with how others feel about them when under stress.

INFJ and INTJ [Se Grip]

These types become obsessed with how the world is right now when under stress.

ISFJ and ISTJ [Ne Grip]

These types become obsessed with how the world could change when under stress.

Extraverts go into an introverted grip, which makes them obsessed with the internal.
ENFJ and ESFJ [Ti Grip]

These types become obsessed with what they think makes sense when under stress.

ENTJ and ESTJ [Fi Grip]

These types become obsessed with what they feel about things when under stress.

ENFP and ENTP [Si Grip]

These types become obsessed with what they have experienced when under stress.

ESFP and ESTP [Ni Grip]

These types become obsessed with what they want in the future when under stress.


Another thing each type can go into is called a loop. Introverts go into an introverted loop, which is used for reflection.

The types start focusing on analyzing their experiences over new possible ideas so they can reflect more.

ISFP and ISTP [Ni Loop]

The types start focusing on what they want in the future over what is happening now so they can reflect more.

INFJ and ISFJ [Ti Loop]

The types start focusing on what makes sense to them over what others value so they can reflect more.

INTJ and ISTJ [Fi Loop]

The types start focusing on what they feel and value over what is objectively correct so they can reflect more.

Meanwhile, Extraverts go into an extraverted loop, which is used for action.
ENFJ and ENTJ [Se Loop]

The types start focusing on what is happening now over what they want in the future so they can act more.

ESFJ and ESTJ [Ne Loop]

The types start focusing on new possible ideas over analyzing their experiences so they can act more.
