The Basics

  • A user must be at least 13 years old to register with this community.
  • We reserve the right to discontinue your membership at any time for any reason that we feel is detrimental to the community based on violating these Rules & Guidelines.
  • Agreeing to the User Agreement on this site includes agreeing to these Community Rules & Guidelines.

Global Rules

Be nice. PDB is a place for creating communities and belonging. We take this very seriously, and explicitly ban violating cases.

  • Harassment and Bullying. There will be absolutely no harassment towards another user, groups of users, or an entire personality type which includes insults, name calling, threats, or any other harmful or negative conversation.
  • Hate Speech. There will be absolutely no prejudice, slurs, or discrimination towards any user or group of people based on their culture, beliefs, disability, or lifestyle. Even if said in a joking manner, it will be taken seriously.
  • Personal Attack. You may be upset or disagree, but still strive to be respectful. Refrain from fighting or calling out rule violations; use the report button instead. Ad hominem and other distracting attacks do not add anything to the discussion.
  • Personal Information. Posting or soliciting someone's personal information is not allowed. This information can and has led to users being harassed. Personal information includes full names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, school names, social media profiles, social security numbers and other ID numbers. First names, country names and city names are allowed.

Let's keep PDB clean and free of NSFW.

  • Do not sexualize or sexually target another user, even if the other user consents and is of age. The legality of any relationship differs by country and this is an international community, so we feel it is best served to avoid any and all sexual talk towards another user. Please take this conversation elsewhere.
  • Posting any sexually explicit content or linking to violent or "shock" imagery is prohibited.

Do not post extreme liberal or conservative opinions on any public profile or discussion board. PDB is not a political site and political debates will be removed. It’s not necessary to impose real-world power structures upon the subculture.

Any form of public cancellation or callout is not allowed in the community and will be deleted immediately when found out. If you don't like a user, block them. If a user writes problematic content, report the content and the user will receive demerit points. If a user is harmful to the community, report the user and the admin will be notified - you can report moderators as well. If you disagree with the admin, send an email to admin@pdb.co or leave your suggestions on the suggestion board.

 

  • Any form of blatant rudeness towards a profile of a real person or a user is not tolerated regardless of their situation. Any action or behavior that shows disrespect towards a real person, such as intentionally disregarding their preferences or identity, is not allowed. This includes deliberately refusing to correct misgendering after being informed by another user.
  • Sanism. Be respectful of mental disorders in your conversation. If it needs to be brought up, make sure it is relevant to the conversation.
  • Unwarranted typing. Before giving typing advice to another user, the user’s consent must be obtained implicitly or explicitly, and such consent can be withdrawn by the user at any time. For the avoidance of doubt, typing users on their Personal PDB Page with the voting option enabled, or replying to users’ type-me questions are allowed.
  • Impersonation. Impersonating another user is not allowed and will cause a restriction.

As a consensus-driven platform, PDB does not tolerate unfairness.

  • Do not encourage any kind of raid on any one profile or page with the intent of overwhelming the comment section or encouraging vote competition.
  • If we suspect you are using multiple accounts for the purpose of voting, downvoting, trolling, or harassing other users, those accounts will be removed and merged, and your main account may be restricted. Please just use one account. The system credits influential & constructive Typology Comments, so please leave thoughtful content instead of using multiple accounts to influence votes.

All forms of spamming and advertising are not allowed.

  • CAPS LOCK spam, emoji spam, @mentioning spam, link spam, singular word spam, and similar content for the purpose of spamming the board will be removed.
  • Posts advertising products, such as linking to streams, media channels, shopping websites, fundraising websites, Patreons, and similar content will be removed.

Users can only share the content if they have the rights to do so.

Do not post illegal content, including but not limited to offering sexual services, selling firearms and drugs, and praise of terrorism, organized crime or hate groups.

Using a secondary or alt account for the purpose of user harassment will have greater consequences. Evading a ban or permission restriction by creating a new account may result in a permanent restriction.

A user must be at least 13 years old and over the minimum age required by the laws of their country of residence to register with this community.
